Welcome to Republic Chophouse

Wow! This restaurant is phenomenal. The food is so excellent, and this is an amazing restaurant to start with for my first trip back to Green Bay in 15 years. My dad and I ordered quite a bit so I'll go by section. My dad ordered a French Onion Soup to start and I started with their Bacon Wrapped Scallops. The scallops are AMAZING! They are in this super rich creamy sauce and they were cooked perfectly. My dad said that the French Onion Soup is the best he's ever tried in a restaurant anywhere. We both ordered chop salads as a side for our steaks, and I'm so glad they have Parmesan peppercorn dressing. The salad is excellent, we both enjoyed ours. We also got served bread with 3 types of butter (plain, Wisconsin Cheddar and Birthday Cake). I tried all of them and they were all great but my favorite was the Wisconsin Cheddar. Then came the steaks. I ordered a filet with bernaise sauce and peppercorn crust, That was absolutely fantastic. Easily a top 5 steak. My dad ordered a New York strip with Blackened seasoning and Au jus. He said his was also excellent and has quite a kick to it in terms of spiciness. We ordered dessert, and I chose their chocolate cake. This cake is an absolute unit. Could easily serve 4 people. It's sooooo big, but it's an excellent cake. Very rich and chocolatey with a good balance of rich and sweet. This was such a phenomenal restaurant. The service was wonderful even with a full house, and the food and drinks were great. We will absolutely be back here. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if you're in the Green Bay area.

I had been meaning to take my significant other here and it did not disappoint! We had the Pork Chop & Mac & Cheese. So lovely. Also had the carrot cake we are still trying to get through. We sat at the bar and enjoyed professional, friendly service. Will be back!

Delicious! From start to finish! Coworker found this amazing restaurant and it was a hit! We had a private room in the back (apparently there are multiple private rooms) and the waitress was fantastic. The bone-in ribeye was fantastic! Large but that meant others had a taste. Tomatoes basil bisque was the perfect soup. Truly delicious! Lots of street parking and parking lots around. I’d come back for seconds, and maybe even thirds.
